"The 2013 Teroldego Sgarzon comes from a vineyard site that is heavily characterized by gravel and sandy soils. Like the Teroldego Morei, the wine goes through an eight-month maceration period in clay vessels. This is a streamlined and delicate expression with more obvious floral and fruit notes on display. Rose petals and dried lavender are followed by grilled herb, leather and sour cherry. The wine's texture is compact, lean and crisp."
