Sauvignon Blanc, 2014

tasting notes:

The 2014 Sauvignon Blanc, which is whole bunch pressed and fermented in old 300-liter barriques, has a light, quite backward leesy nose matched with green apple and a touch of Cornice pear. The palate is well balanced with good weight in the mouth, with hints of white asparagus and nettle coming through, though there are no cat's pee/pyrazine notes here. The finish perhaps just needs a little more personality, though that will surely come with bottle age.
