The 2011 Pinot Noir Galets Oligocène has a quite bright cherry color and offers a pure, delicate and fresh bouquet of red fruits intertwined with floral flavors, beetroot, pepper and discreet secondary toast and tobacco aromas from the barrel aging. Very precise and inviting. Medium to full-bodied, silky-textured and fresh on the palate this is a very elegant, finesse-full and balanced Pinot d'Alsace with a Rhenish fruit charm, a sweeping acidity and a nicely dry and fruity finish.  Robert Parker: 88 points
