Region: Burgenland
Tasting Notes:
Subtle vanilla and smoke suggestions compliment aromas of fresh dark berries. On the palate, the clear fresh berry compote character is accented by licks of salt, lead pencil, and wet stone. This displays some real depth and density, yet allied to a transparency and vivacity which outside of Burgundy you will rarely encounter in red.
