The 2013 Châteauneuf du Pape GT-1, tasted as a barrel sample, has plenty of sweet oak in its raspberry, blackberry,spice-box and minty bouquet. Medium-bodied, fresh and elegant, with fine tannin and good mid-palate depth, it has outstanding potential and should evolve nicely for upward of a decade.
