Picked with 30% botrytis, the 2013 Cuvée Auslese is a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Welschriesling, bottled with 80 grams of residual sugar and 11% alcohol. The bouquet is subtle and fine, displaying a nice raisin and pineapple flavor. Sweet and delicate on the palate, with a nice raciness and a clear finish, this is a subtle and delicate Auslese. The wine has finesse and a good and stimulating, grippy finish.
