Albarino Seleccion de Anada, Pazo de Senorans, 2008

13(%)

750(ml.)

Grape Varieties: Albarino

The 2008 Selección de Añada was bottled as recently as June 2015, even though the cork looked even more recent. The wine spent at least 30 months in contact with the lees, and I wonder how long it really was and how long the wine was kept until bottling. The nose is super, very complex with aromas of pollen, beeswax, fennel, petrol, wet granite, flowers, musky apples and something spicy (white pepper?). The palate is lively, with acidity still to be integrated. In fact it feels very young, younger than its age, I'd say. It left me scratching my head. 16,000 bottles produced.
